<td width="562">COOLANGATTA/QLD (28th March, 2012): They came from all corners including the Australian film and television industry for the annual Harley Ingleby Surfing Australia Longboard Camp at Casuarina.

Ingleby, the 2009 Association of Surfing Professionals World Longboard Champion, was joined by Surfing Australia coach Josh Fuller for the camp, which included the star of award-winning television police drama Blue Heelers, Martin Sacks.

The 28-year-old Ingleby from Emerald Beach in NSW was fresh from a second-place finish to current World Champion Taylor Jensen at the Australian Longboard Surfing Open in Kingscliff.

“Last year we had a guy who was 60-years-old or so from Japan and this year we’ve got guys from New Zealand and then there’s Martin Sacks,” Harley said.

“When I turned up and saw him I thought, ‘wow, I can’t believe he’s at my camp’. It’s pretty cool.

“There’s definitely a mix of levels in the groups and Josh and I have been passing on a few different techniques and different things to work on. I definitely think even from the first session we got a lot of improvement from every surfer.”

Harley’s camp follows a series of Surfing Australia Pro Surfer Camps hosted by Laura Enever, Joel Parkinson, Adrian Buchan, Bede Durbidge, Sally Fitzgibbons and Tyler Wright and a SUP camp with Jamie Mitchell.

Each camp participant had the chance to meet their surfing hero while receiving coaching from Australia’s finest fully accredited coaches. The camps also featured video analysis using state of the art computer software to illustrate correct surfing technique.

The Pro Surfer Camps are proudly supported by the Australian Sports Commission and Suncorp.
